    Summary
This gene encodes a spliced long non-coding RNA that may constitute a component of the nuclear matrix. A similar gene in mouse has been associated with retinal cell fate determination. Altered expression of a similar gene in human has been associated with a susceptibility to myocardial infarction, and is involved in pathways that may contribute to the pathophysiology of schizophrenia. RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
