Definition

A lymphoproliferative disorder caused by the human herpesvirus 8 (HHV8). This category includes the following: HHV8-positive multicentric Castleman disease; HHV8-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified; primary effusion lymphoma; and germinotropic lymphoproliferative disorders. [from NCI]
