Definition

A spectrum of lower urogenital tract signs and symptoms that are associated with the decreased production of estrogen experienced during menopause. Findings may include genital dryness, burning or irritation, dyspareunia, decreased libido, urinary urgency, dysuria and recurrent urinary tract infections. [from NCI]
