Definition

An epithelial neoplasm that arises from the eccrine glands and is characterized by the absence of atypical or malignant cytological and architectural features, and absence of invasive features or metastatic potential. Representative examples include hidrocystoma, syringoma, and syringofibroadenoma. [from NCI]
