Definition

A non-neoplastic polyp that arises from the stomach and is characterized by the presence of elongated, tortuous, and cystic foveolar zones, edematous changes, and inflammation. It may be associated with juvenile polyposis in other parts of the gastrointestinal tract. [from NCI]
