A very rare malignant mixed epithelial and mesenchymal neoplasm that arises from the vagina and resembles synovial sarcoma. It is characterized by a biphasic pattern and is composed of gland-like structures that are lined by epithelial cells and a cellular mesenchymal component. [from NCI]
