Definition

A pathologic finding about one or more characteristics of lung cancer, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v7 classification system. The pathologic classification uses the evidence acquired before treatment, supplemented or modified by the additional evidence acquired during and after surgery, particularly from pathologic examination.
