A glycoprotein member of the immunoglobulin superfamily that is primarily expressed on the surface of DENDRITIC CELLS. It is believed to play a role in ANTIGEN PRESENTATION and CELL-TO-CELL INTERACTION following LYMPHOCYTE ACTIVATION.
