A hereditary form of lymphangiectasis that affects the lungs and is frequently lethal in utero. It is characterized by chronic pleural effusions, pachypleuritis, pleural membrane thickenings, EDEMA; HYDROPS FETALIS, growth retardation, and recurrent RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS. OMIM: 265300
