SRX2014521: MDA of marine diplonemid cell 21sb
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 5M spots, 3G bases, 1.5Gb downloads

Design: Single protist cells were isolated from sea water. Single-cell genome amplification via MDA using REPLI-g UltraFast Mini Kit. Sample cleanup, library preparation (Illumina TruSeq), and sequencing (Illumina MiSeq PE 300 bp) were conducted at McGill University and GŽnome QuŽbec Innovation Centre (samples 3, 13, 21, 27, 37, and 47) and University of California, Los Angeles Genotyping and Sequencing (samples 1sb, 4sb, 9sb, 21sb, and 21).

Study: Single-cell genomic analysis of 10 'wild-caught' diplonemids
show Abstracthide Abstract
In this study, we generated single-cell genomic data from 10 marine diplonemids, isolated off of the California coast. Marine diplonemids are increasingly being recognized as diverse and abundant constituents of oceanic plankton, but no one had knowingly observed (or derived genomic information from) these cells until the present study.
Sample: A planktonic diplonemid isolated in the Northeastern Pacific Ocean (California)
