SRX12806836: UCE target enrichment of Leptanilla boltoni, worker (CASENT0842753) [raw reads]
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq X) run: 1.7M spots, 509.8M bases, 192.9Mb downloads

Design: DNA was extracted non-destructively using a DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit (Qiagen Inc., Valencia, CA) with DNA eluted from spin columns using buffer AE at 56 degrees Celsius (Cruaud et al. 2019). Genomic concentrations were quantified for each sample with a Qubit 2.0 fluorometer (Life Technologies Inc., Carlsbad, CA). Phylogenomic data were generated using the UCE probe set hym-v2 (Branstetter et al. 2017), with libraries being prepared and target loci enriched using the protocol of Branstetter et al. (2017). at RAPiD Genomics (Gainesville, FL). Raw reads were assembled with SPAdes v. 3.12.0 (Bankevich et al. 2013).

Study: Systematic revision of the ant subfamily Leptanillinae (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) grounded in phylogenomic inference
show Abstracthide Abstract
Here, I present raw reads for my ongoing systematic revision of the ant subfamily Leptanillinae, a group that suffers rampant parallel taxonomy. I will resolve this parallel taxonomy using phylogenomic inference with ultra-conserved elements (UCEs) and male morphology in conjunction.
