show Abstracthide AbstractBrachypodium distachyon is a new model plant for wheat and other cereals as Arabidopsis thaliana is a model plant mainly for dicots. Seedlings of Brachypodium distachyon were treated with several phytohormones (auxin, cytokinine, brassinosteroid, gibberelline, abscisic acid, ethylene, jasmonate and salicylic acid) and their inhibitors (Brz220 and prohexadione). The transcriptional responses to these phytohormones were roughly common in Brachypodium, Arabidopsis and Rice.
