SRX018163: 454 sequencing of cDNAs derived from mature stem from Amborella trichopoda
1 LS454 (454 GS FLX Titanium) run: 259,431 spots, 143.8M bases, 308.9Mb downloads

Design: Roche 454GS FLX library kit
Submitted by: University of Georgia
Study: Ancestral Angiosperm Genome Project
show Abstracthide Abstract
The Ancestral Angiosperm Genome Project (AAGP) is using a combination of Sanger, 454 and Illumina sequencing to characterize the transcriptomes of five phylogenetically critical, basal angiosperms: Amborella trichopoda, Aristolochia fimbriata, Liriodendron tulipifera, Nuphar advena, and Persea americana and one gymnosperm, Zamia vazquezii. These exemplar species will provide necessary data for inferring gene family size and transcriptome gene content in the most recent common ancestor of all extant angiosperm lineages.
Sample: Generic sample from Amborella trichopoda
