Our objective was to obtain a large sequence dataset by next-generation sequencing (Roche 454 GS FLX, Titanium series) of two different reduced representations of the genome: AFLP (Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism) fragments as a fraction of genomic DNA and EST (Expressed Sequence Tag) as a transcribed portion of the genome. These sequences refer to Leroux et al, 2010 (submitted).
