SRX022119: 454 Sequencing of Peanut ESTs cv SSD6
1 LS454 (454 GS FLX Titanium) run: 65,621 spots, 35.8M bases, 77.1Mb downloads

Submitted by: University of Georgia
Study: Arachis hypogaea
show Abstracthide Abstract
Assembled from ESTs available is dbEST and 454 reads available in SRA. The primary data were generated from different Arachis hypogaea L. genotypes by Sanger and 454 sequencing. Peanut or groundnut (Arachis spp.) is both an important oilseed crop and a direct protein source for human nutrition. The currently cultivated peanut belongs to A. hypogeae, the only domesticated species in this genus. It has an allotetraploid genome (2n=4x=40, AABB).
