SRX1057362: ZnO-nano treated S.oleracea replicated sample-14r
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 35M spots, 7G bases, 4.1Gb downloads

Design: RNA-Seq libraries were constructed using the TruSeq RNA Sample Preparation Kit. The multiplexed libraries were loaded onto one lane of an 8-lane flowcell for cluster formation and sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq2000 with TruSeq SBS sequencing kits version 3. The libraries were sequenced from both ends of the molecules to a total read length of 100nt. The experimental set-up was complete randomized block design in a factorial arrangement with nine total treatments consisting of three forms of zinc (zinc sulfate, zinc oxide bulk form, zinc oxide nanoparticle form) and three zinc concentrations (2, 50, and 500 µM); each treatment had four biological replicates. For Genomics analysis, there were six S.oleracea root samples sequenced (paired end), three replicates each treated with ZnO-bulk and ZnO-nano 500 µM concentration.

Study: ZnO-nanoparticles induces gene expression changes in spinach without affecting Zn uptake
show Abstracthide Abstract
1) To determine the effects of ZnO nanoparticles on growth of spinach,2) To assess the uptake and translocation of Zn nanoparticles, and3) To examine the gene expression within the plant tissue as a response to exposure to nanoparticles.
