Design: cDNA was synthesized using the SMART PCR cDNA Synthesis Kit and then normalized with the TRIMMER-DIRECT Kit. The normalized libraries were then prepared for sequencing as recommended for Illumina GA IIx paired-ends. After determination of fragment size distributions on a Bioanalyzer, and concentrations with PicoGreen, libraries were diluted according to Q-PCR quantification and subjected to sequencing.
