Study: Sequencing and assembly of the Nothobranchius furzeri transcriptome
show Abstracthide Abstract
Nothobranchius furzeri is a vertebrate with a very short life span in captivity. With our work we want to contribute to establishing N. furzeri as an alternative vertebrate model organism for age research. Here, we use next-generation sequencing technologies to generate a comprehensive, annotated N. furzeri transcript catalogue.
Sample: Nothobranchius furzeri GRZ, five 5w old individuals (male), skin, mRNA
