The antennal club of the clonal raider ant (Ooceraea biroi) has certain classes of sensilla restricted to either to dorsal or ventral surfaces. We sequenced mRNA from dorsal and ventral halves of the antenna to investigate which chemosensory receptors were expressed in each half.
