SRX255930: Short-term feed deprivation alters immune status of surface mucosa in channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus)
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 18.1M spots, 3.6G bases, 2.4Gb downloads

Design: Sequencing libraries were prepared with 2.14-3.25 ug of starting total RNA and processed using the Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Preparation Kit, as dictated by the TruSeq protocol. As per the procotol, the libraries were amplified with 15 cycles of PCR and contained TruSeq indexes within the adaptors, specifically indexes 1-6. The final, amplified library yields were 30 ul of 19.8-21.4 ng/ul with an average length of 268 base pair (bp), indicating a concentration of 110-140 nM. After KAPA quantitation and dilution, the libraries were clustered 6 per lane and sequenced on a HiSeq 2000 instrument with 100bp PE reads at the HudsonAlpha Genomic Services Lab (Huntsville, AL, USA).
