SRX3061489: RNA-Seq of camellia sinensis
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 28.6M spots, 8.6G bases, 3.2Gb downloads

Design: development of leaf stages
Submitted by: Huazhong Agricultural University
Study: Camellia sinensis var. sinensis Transcriptome or Gene expression
show Abstracthide Abstract
In the present study, RNA-Seq was performed on samples from five different stages of tea leaves, and the global changes in the developing leaf transcriptome were analyzed. Based on the transcriptomic datasets generated, we identify several potential structural genes, and transcription factors related to catechins biosynthesis. These results provide an improved understanding for the further study of regulation mechanisms of catechins biosynthesis in tea plants.
