SRX3373358: Sunflower mycorrhizal roots RNA-seq. H. annuus roots of control ( C ) and inoculated ( M ) with Rhizoglomus irregulare after 4 and 16 days of symbiosis. Sequence data were generated by deep sequencing using Illumina HiSeq.
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 52.3M spots, 5.2G bases, 2.2Gb downloads

Design: mRNA was used for the construction of single-end libraries according to the standard Illumina protocol (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA).

To investigate the molecular bases of arbuscular symbiosis in sunflower, we harvested roots from control and from 4 and 16 days inoculated roots. RNAs were isolated from root cells, with 3 biological replicates for each time point and treatment. RNA sequencing was performed with Illumina technology.
Sample: Plant sample from Helianthus annuus
