We analyzed differential gene expression before and after a cold shock in D. ananassae strains from Bangkok to identify candidate genes involved in cold tolerance. Overall design: We performed RNA-sequencing of 4 cold tolerant and 4 cold sensitive fly strains before and at two time points after a cold shock.
