SRX3722266: Model organism or animal sample from Rhinolophus ferrumequinum TOR-1
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 4000) run: 21.2M spots, 6G bases, 2.2Gb downloads

Design: RNA-seq on hibernating mammals intestines during winter torpor and summer active

Study: Intestine transcriptome in hibernating mammals (the greater horseshoe bat, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum)
show Abstracthide Abstract
During hibernation, hibernating animals endure a long period of low temperature and fasting that affect dramatically on the gut. Here, we generated the first intestine transcriptome in hibernating mammals (the greater horseshoe bat, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum), providing novel insights into changes of gut function associated with adaptation to hibernation.
Sample: Model organism or animal sample from Rhinolophus ferrumequinum
