What is the susceptibility of black bass to formation of intersex from exposure to EDCs of interest? This objective will be addressed through the development and implementation of molecular, physiological, and whole-organism tools and methods to decipher the mechanisms by which endocrine disruption may occur. We will investigate time courses of vulnerability over different life stages and delineate adverse outcome pathways for reproductive effects in black bass in order to determine safe exposure levels to EDCs.
