SRX4939610: RNAseq of thrips palmi: no cacv
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 40.2M spots, 8G bases, 3.4Gb downloads

Submitted by: The University of Queensland
Study: Transcriptome response of Thrips palmi (melon thrips) to capsicum chlorosis virus (CaCV)
show Abstracthide Abstract
The goal of this project was to identify differentially-expressed genes in adult melon thrips to capsicum chlorosis virus (CaCV) infection to begin to elucidate the molecular interactions possibly associated with transmission biology and thrips vector response to the tospovirus it transmits to plants. Illumina Hiseq2000 generated paired-end reads for 6 samples consisting of 2 treatments (+/- CaCV) x 3 biological replications. Each sample consisted of 100 pooled individuals comprised of females and males. This project enables the first set of transcriptome information for the genus Thrips and provides needed sequence data for comparative transcriptomics with other Thysanopteran vectors of tospoviruses.
Sample: No Virus-adult (Ad) Biorep 3
