show Abstracthide AbstractThe transcriptomes were sequenced with the aim of a comparative study on male reproductive genes among the following species: Drosophila antonietae, D. borborema, D. buzzatii and D. koepferae. For each species, total RNA was extracted independently from reproductive accessory glands and the bodies of males whose reproductive tracts were previously dissected. We used Illumina paired-end (2x100 bp) libraries to generate the eight raw reads collections (one for each combination of species and tissue type). Sequencing was performed in a HiSeq 1500 platform for the accessory glands samples and in HiSeq 2000 platform for the samples of bodies devoid of reproductive tract.
