Design: Extraction of mRNA and random-primed, strand-specific libraries were prepared using the protocol from Zhong et al. (2011) with minor modifications. The 30 libraries were pooled and 150 bp paired-end sequencing was done using an Illumina HiSeq 4000 to a depth of approximately 30 million reads per sample.
