show Abstracthide Abstract
General Aim - To use functional genomic data from ecologically important freshwater organisms to understand population adaptations in the wild and adaptive responses to environmental change. More specifically, this project entails the following objectives: Objective 1 – Develop functional genomic resources for ecologically important non-model organisms. Objective 2 – Conduct a genome-wide scan of adaptive variation in wild populations of non-model organisms. Objective 3 – Document adaptive responses to environmental change under laboratory conditions. Objective 4 – Predict biological responses to environmental change.
Sample: Generic sample from Melanotaenia duboulayi
