1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 4000) run: 45.8M spots, 10.3G bases, 3.2Gb downloads

Design: According to the methods Liu et al., 2021, we studies transcriptomic the mature virgin females' taxis towards E-CF, was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich, St Louis, MO,USA. Initially, the E-CF and DMP solutions were prepared in absolute ethanol, such that the final concentrations of the standards were 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, and 20g. Subsequently, 30 mature females (16 days old) were randomly chosen and placed into a screen cage. After approximately 30 min, a fly trap equipped with 200L of trial concentration E-CF was placed in the cage. For the control groups, the traps contained an equal volume of absolute ethanol. After 2 h, the traps were removed, and the number of trapped flies was counted. Four independent replicates were made for each treatment. Experiments were conducted from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. under controlled conditions.

Bactrocera dorsalis, previously known as Dacus dorsalis and commonly referred to as the oriental fruit fly, is a species of tephritid fruit fly that is endemic to Southeast Asia. It is one of the major pest species in the genus Bactrocera with a broad host range of cultivated and wild fruits. Attractancy of (E)-coniferyl alcohol for management of female adults of Oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel)Transcriptome data for RNA-seq of B. dorsalis extracting tissues antennae.
