Gibbons of the genus Hylobates living in Southeast Asia show great diversity comprising seven to nine species. To uncover the divergence history and extent of hybridization and introgression in the evolution of Hylobates, GRAS-Di (Genotyping by Random Amplicon Sequencing-Direct) was conducted for 47 gibbons.
