show Abstracthide AbstractBacillus species are the most studied biological control agents and produces a large variety of antibiotics that contribute to both their antifungal activity against phytopathogens and induction of plant defense response in plants. Here, we present a whole-genome sequence of Bacillus velezensis KOF112, which was isolated from an shoot xylem of Japanese indigenous wine rape Vitis sp. cv. Koshu and showed an antifungal activities against phytopathogens, Botrytis cinerea, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, and Plasmopara viticola.
