Study: Transcriptional characterization of bacteria-fungi interaction between Priestia endophytica FH5 and phytopathogen Rhizoctonia solani
show Abstracthide Abstract
Priestia endophytica FH5, which was isolated from healthy tomato rhizosphere soil, had biological activity against a variety of plant diseases, including R. solani. We isolated the chemicals generated by strain FH5 to better understand the interaction between strain FH5 and R. solani. A transcriptome study of strain FH5 with and without R. solani exposure was also performed. In response to the fungal pathogen R. solani, strain FH5 changed genes linked to amino acid transport, carbohydrate transport, energy generation and conversion, and inorganic ion transport and metabolism, according to our findings. Overall design: 2 samples of Priestia endophytica FH5, one treated and oe untreated
Sample: S44

Instrument: NextSeq 500
Strategy: RNA-Seq
Source: TRANSCRIPTOMIC
Selection: cDNA
Layout: SINGLE
Construction protocol: RNA was isolated as total RNA using Roche RNA isolation kit with some modifications The Zymo-Seq RiboFree™ Total RNA Library Kit (Zymo Research, USA) was used to prepare the library preps for Illumina sequencing using 800ng of the extracted total RNA. Samples were sequenced on the Illumina NexSeq 500 to generate 75 bases singel end reads (75SE) with an average read-depth of 12M reads per sample.
