show Abstracthide AbstractBarnacles are typical marine sessile organisms that have a variety of unique functions. Amphibalanus amphitrite (A. Amphitrite, taxonomy ID: 1232801, Balanidae, Thecostraca) is known to be a model organism of barnacles and its genome sequence (PRJNA549550) is available. A. amphitrite has been used for many anti-fouling studies. Kitano et al. have been developing isonitrile derivatives including AF035 as the promising environment-friendly anti-fouling reagents. We here constructed A. amphitrite cypris transcriptomes treated with or without AF035 to elucidate the mode of action and intrinsic receptor of AF035. We also obtained transcriptomes of nauplius 6th larvae, cypris larva just after nauplius-cypris molt and juvenile to understand the expression profiles of targeted transcripts.
