Design: "Five biological replicates (originating from different animals) of Thunnus maccoyii ovaries were collected. Ovary sample from each fish was further dissociated to obtain enriched oogonia cell suspensions, by using a 30um size filtration. The enriched cell suspension was homogenized and total RNA was then extracted using RNAZol RT according to the manufacturer's instructions. Total RNA was sent on dry ice to the Australian Genome Research Facility (AGRF; Brisbane, QLD) for library preparation and RNA-Seq on an Illumina HiSeq2500 platform, producing 100 base paired end reads. All five replicates from each treatment were multiplexed on each lane. The Illumina CASAVA 1.8.2 pipeline was used to generate the sequence data."
