1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 169M spots, 50.2G bases, 15.9Gb downloads

Design: Pure DNA was extracted from a 1mg sample of muscle tissue from each fish using Purelink Genomic DNA Kit (Invitrogen, Inc) according to the manufacturers protocol. Extracted DNA was sent Novogene (Davis, CA) sequencing of Illumina paired end reads (150bp x 2) on the NovoSeq 6000 platform and was sequenced to at least 15x whole-genome coverage. Illumina data were quality filtered with a Phred score cutoff of thirty (-q 30) and adapter sequences were removed using TrimGalore v0.6.6
