SRX23705181: RNA-seq of pooled Cryptoblepharus metallicus livers
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 29.7M spots, 5.9G bases, 2.2Gb downloads

Design: Total RNA extracted using Qiagen RNeasy Plus minikit; RNA pooled in equimolar ratios by species and location (n=9); rRNA depleted using Illumina Ribo-zero Gold epidemiology and library prepared using Illumina TruSeq Total RNA Library Preparation protocol; paired-end sequencing (100bp) conducted on an Illumina Hiseq 2500.

Study: Australian lizard viromes
show Abstracthide Abstract
Total RNA sequencing was conducted on RNA extracted from the livers of several species of healthy Australian lizards. Each sequencing library consisted of pooled RNA from multiple animals of the same species and ribosomal RNA depletion was conducted prior to sequencing to enrich for viruses. The purpose of this study was to characterise the liver virome of various lizard species in Australia to better understand viral evolution and ecology.
Sample: Pool of 9 Cryptoblepharus metallicus liver RNA samples
