SRX25432326: Genome sequencing of Mediterraneibacter gnavus Strain RI1
1 OXFORD_NANOPORE (GridION) run: 142,445 spots, 2.1G bases, 1.7Gb downloads

Design: In this study, we isolated M. gnavus strain RI1 from healthy Japanese human feces. The species of the isolates were determined by a BLAST search of the 16S rRNA gene sequence, which showed 99% identity with M. gnavus ATCC 29149. Cultivation of M. gnavus strain RI1 was performed overnight at 37C in an anaerobic chamber. Bacteria genomic DNA extracted using a NucleoBond high molecular weight (HMW) DNA kit (Macherey-Nagel). The sequencing library for long reads was prepared using a rapid barcoding kit (SQK-RBK114; Oxford Nanopore Technologies), sequenced in a flow cell (FLO-MIN114) with a GridION device (Oxford Nanopore Technologies), and base called (guppy 6.5.7, super accurate mode), demultiplexed and adapter trimmed with a GridION X5 version 23.07.12 software (Oxford Nanopore Technologies).
