SRX3752820: Whole-genome shotgun DNA sequencing of Enterobacter cloacae: human bloodstream isolate
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 4000) run: 4.9M spots, 935.1M bases, 360.2Mb downloads

Design: DNA was extracted from cultured bacterial isolate, dual-index libraries prepared using the Illumina Nextera XT kit, and 101bp paired-end reads were generated on the Illumina HiSeq 4000 platform.

Study: Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae at a Health Care System in Silicon Valley, California
show Abstracthide Abstract
Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) are emerging as a major health threat in North America. The mechanism of resistance to carbapenems has therapeutic and public health implications. The aim of this study was to comprehensively characterize the underlying mechanisms of carbapenem resistance in CRE isolates at a health system in Silicon Valley, California.
