show Abstracthide AbstractFerret (Mustela putorius furo) is a carnivora animal with a larger gyrencephalic cerebral cortex and more morphologically similar to human than mouse during development. Therefore, the ferret is a good model animal for the study of gyrencephalic cortical development, but their genomic information is still immature to perform single-cell RNA sequencing to reveal molecular mechanisms underlie gyrencephalic cortical development. In this project, we performed a genome assembly using pseudo-long-reads of the 10x Genomics to enrich the ferret genomics sequence.
