Accessing RNA and protein sequence data

First, open the sequence viewer to the gene of interest or click on this link. Make sure that all gene features, including RNA and CDS, are exposed. The button indicated with the arrow in the image below switches the view to show all features for gene tracks. Refer to the Legends for more information on rendering options for gene features.

You can access tooltips for features by hovering over the feature with your cursor. The tooltips for gene, RNA, and CDS features include links to download or view the sequences in FASTA or GenBank format (arrows in image below).

The exons option provides the individual exons of an RNA feature as separate FASTA delimited by a greater than (>) symbol (see below).
