Fleay's barred frog (Mixophyes fleayi) is a large species of frog restricted to small pockets of rainforest in northern New South Wales and south-eastern Queensland, Australia (from Wikipedia entry). This sample of a male individual found in New South Wales, Australia was procured by Laura Grogan and Madelyn Mangan to generate a high-quality reference genome for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP).
