The polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)-producing Brevundimonas diminuta TVB1 has been isolated from a sequencing batch reactor (SRB) for the production of PHA (ResUrbis Project). However, the genome sequence of B. diminuta TVB1, which can give insights not only for its potential biotechnological application but also for understanding its safety use, is still lacking. In this study, we report the draft genome sequence of B. diminuta TVB1 for setting up insights for safety biotechnological application. We sequenced the genome of B. diminuta TVB1 with massively parallel sequencing Illumina technology.
