Conserved Protein Domain Family
STAT1_TAZ2bind

?
pfam12162: STAT1_TAZ2bind
STAT1 TAZ2 binding domain
This domain family is found in eukaryotes, and is approximately 20 amino acids in length, and the family is found in association with pfam02865, pfam00017, pfam01017, pfam02864. This domain is the C terminal domain of STAT1. This domain binds selectively to the TAZ2 domain of CRB (CREB-binding protein). In this process it becomes a transcriptional activator and can initiate transcription of certain genes.
