Oligonucleotides were designed from an in-house annotation of the C.parapsilosis genome sequence (http://www.sanger.ac.uk/sequencing/Candida/parapsilosis/ ) using eArray from Agilent Technology. Each of 5834 open reading frames is represented by two oligonucleotides probes. Mitochondrial genes are indicated by the prefix cpmt. Controls from Arabidopsis thaliana were included. The probes were used to generate custom microarrays in a 4x44 K format with a randomized layout.
