The cDNA microarrays contained over 28,798 cDNA clones representing over 23,600 unique UniGene clusters. These cDNA clones were obtained from the sequence-verified IMAGE clone selection from Research Genetics (Invitrogen Corporation, Inc). After PCR amplification and purification, the cDNA inserts were resuspended in 3x SSC solution and spotted on poly-lysine-coated slides. The slides were then blocked by regular succinic Anhydre solution, denatured in boiling water and dried by centrifugation. The gene names are listed according to UniGene build 141 (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/UniGene).
