Manufacture protocol S. uberis 0140J DNA microarray encompassed the whole bacterial genome, composed of 3780 features, with optimised 60mer oligonucleotide probes printed in triplicate. Two separate probes were designed to match each individual gene determined from the S. uberis 0140J genome annotation with regions of homology discounted. Arrays were printed on glass microscope slides following described protocols (Hughes, Mao et al, Nature Biotechnol 2001, 9(4)342-7).
