Description CaneRegNet microarray (44k multiplex chip, agilent) was designed using an in-house developed method for empirical selection of best performing probes (60bp long oligomers) for each SAS (Sugarcane Assembled Sequence - Pre Selection Strategy based on gene function and categorization). Were designed two probes for each cluster SAS from SUCEST Project, one in the sense orientation and another one in the antisense orientation if available or one sense probe. The microarray contain 21902 oligo probes in sense and antisense orientation corresponding of a total of 14522 SAS.

The ID column includes the Probe Names. A different version of this platform with a unique numeral id (for each 'spot' on the array) in the ID column is assigned accession number GPL14862.
