The ISU microarray facility have generated a maize gene chip that contains 13,056 spotted cDNA inserts. In this chip there are 12 x 4 subgrids, each grid contains 17x16=272 spots, totally the number of spots=14x4x272=13056, which includes 1056 empty spots, 22 unknown spots and 211 exogenous spots. After removing these uninformative spots, 11767 informative spots will be left for analysis.
Description
These cDNA clones were obtained from NSF Plant Genome EST projects led by Ginny Walbot and Pat Schnable.
