Manufacture protocol The Array-Ready Pig Genome Oligo Set Version 1.0 from Operon Biotechnologies was dissolved in 3XSSC and spotted using a MicroGrid II (BioRobotics) microarrayer onto Micromax SuperChipI glass slides (Perkin Elmer Life Sciences). The oligos were crosslinked (600 mJoules) onto the glass using a Stratalinker UV crosslinker (Stratagene).
Post-spotting treatment: To eliminate salts and materials unlinked the following washes were utilised :
1- 1 % SDS and 3X SSC (1’)by shaking
2- Distilled water (5’) by shaking
3- Boiling distilled water (30”)
